Alex Wolfe-Warman is a recovered addict who works with Anyone's Child promoting drug law reform.
With the help of Anyone's Child, Alex put on an event in his home town called ‘Weston-Super-Mare Take Drugs Seriously’. Speakers included Neil Woods chair of Leap UK and former undercover drugs Detective Sergeant Jane Slater, and Cara Levine from Anyone's Child.
Alex attended the first Labour Party meeting in Parliament about drug policy, where he spoke about the importance of including addicts and users in the conversation.
During his addiction and recovery, Alex has encountered much of the suffering and consequences of current drug policy and drug law, including the criminalisation and stigmatisation of drug use and the risks and harms of taking unregulated substances.
